WAOW Exhibit Coming Up & More

The Women Artists of the West (WAOW) 53rd National Exhibition will open on July 22 and run through September 15, 2023. I’m proud to announce that one of my paintings – Solitary Prowl – has been juried into the exhibit which will be held at the Carriage Factory Art Gallery in Newton, Kansas.

Each year WAOW holds an exhibition to showcase a carefully chosen group of that organization’s most talented artists. Now in its 53rd year, WAOW is a select group of approximately 350 women artists whose work encompasses wildlife, old west and contemporary west, ranch and rural life, still life, florals and Native American subjects.

I’ve just returned from the International Guild of Realism events in Santa Fe where one of my paintings of a baby Bobcat – First Outing – was featured. It was an exciting few days in beautiful Santa Fe. The show runs through June 26 at the Sugarman-Peterson Gallery on 130 W. Palace Ave. in Santa Fe. If you’re planning to travel to Santa Fe this summer, please drop in to see the exhibit.

As with every animal painting you do, Pam, each one if superior to the last.
This may be your very best, at least it’s spectacular. I’ll be writing to you
soon, as I think of doing every day. Julieanna
