International Guild of Realism Exhibit in Santa Fe

I am very excited to announce that one of my favorite paintings of a Bobcat kitten – First Outing – has been juried into the 17th Annual International Guild of Realism exhibition. This year’s exhibit will be held in Santa Fe, New Mexico at the beautiful Sugarman-Peterson Gallery. The exhibit will be on display from June 2 through June 26.

Competition for this year’s exhibit was rigorous and consisted of two rounds of judging to evaluate well over 450 submissions. Entries were received from Canada, Germany, Norway, USA, New Zealand, Austria, Sweden, Greece, Australia, and England. Ultimately, only 92 artists were chosen to display their work at the exhibition.

I hope that some of you might be able to join me in Santa Fe to enjoy the Opening Reception or visit the exhibit through June 26. The Opening Reception will be held at the gallery (130 W Palace Ave # A, Santa Fe, NM) on June 2 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Founded in 2002, the International Guild of Realism’s primary mission is to advance realism in fine art through museum exhibitions, art gallery shows, workshops and education programs conducted by our members, marketing support, and internet exposure. For the past seventeen years, the Guild has showcased an international group of artists for their yearly exhibitions at various galleries throughout the United States.

Pam, nice work. Congrats on your acceptance. You really do excellent work. The image looked so real I had to blow my nose do to my cat allergy.
