Arizona Art Alliance Exhibit

“Monsoon Coming”

The Arizona Art Alliance held an artist’s reception last weekend to celebrate the opening of their “Partnership” exhibit at the Holland Gallery of Fine Art in northeast Scottsdale at 34250 N. 60th St., Bldg. B, Scottsdale, AZ.

I was fortunate to have two of my paintings juried into the show: “Montana Mountain Lion” and “Monsoon Coming.” At the reception, I was thrilled when my name was announced as receiving the Second Place Award in the show for my newest painting “Monsoon Coming.”

The exhibit runs through October 24, and if you have the opportunity, I would encourage you to stop by to see the work of over 60 of Arizona’s finest artists in all media and styles.

Wow. CONGRATULATIONS PAM!! I am not that familiar with the Western hawks, but that is a Harris Hawk, right? Did you work from a photo Tom took? Was the mountain lion from your Montana trip this past summer? Beautiful work, so realistic. Again, Congrats!!
