13th Annual Juried Exhibition of the International Guild of Realism

I am thrilled to announce that I’ve been selected to exhibit one of my paintings at the 13th Annual International Guild of Realism Exhibition to be held in Santa Fe, New Mexico in October of this year. The Guild is a group of hundreds of international artists who specialize in realism in their approach to art.

Two Doves in the Fountain

Each year the Guild evaluates hundreds of submissions for their yearly exhibit. It uses a two-tiered jurying process with about 50% of the original submissions surviving the first cut. A final cut in the jurying process then selects only 92 artists to be shown in the Santa Fe exhibit. My painting—Two Doves in the Fountain—was one of those selected by the judges.

The Guild’s 13th Annual Juried Exhibition will be held from October 5th – October 29th, 2018 at the Sugarman-Peterson Gallery in the heart of the world-famous Santa Fe Art District. An Opening Reception will be held at the gallery on Friday, October 5 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. where the public can meet the artists and view their works. I’d like to invite everyone to join me at the reception, or if you can’t make the date, to please visit the exhibition during October. It’s a beautiful time of year to visit Santa Fe and enjoy some of the finest realism artwork available anywhere.

Later this year, I’ll be providing more details on the exhibit, so please check back as we get nearer to October. Big congratulations for achieving another major art milestone; making the final cut for the International Guild of Realism! Your painting is perfection. The detail and depth, gives the feeling one could reach out and touch the doves, that might just fly away or one can hear the water in the fountain as it splashes over the edge. Hope to see you in Santa Fe! Deborah & Mark 😉

Pam this is a well deserved honor. The colors of the doves are wonderful and certainly makes one think they are there and could touch them. We are very pleased for you and certainly hope you will be rewarded for all your effort.

Congratulations, Pam, on such a distinctive honor. Your paintings are beautiful, and I especially like this one, too! Now, I can officially say that, “I knew you when.” Our friendship dates back more than 35 years. WOW!
