I am thrilled to announce that I’ve been awarded a scholarship to attend a five-day workshop at the Scottsdale Artists’ School. As many of you know, Scottsdale is one of the top-notch areas in the country for art galleries, and the Scottsdale Artists’ School has a prominent place in supporting the area’s art scene and training artists.

From time to time, the school grants scholarships to help promote the artistic growth of artists by covering much, if not all, of the costs associated with their workshops. My scholarship will be applied to the Wildlife Painting workshop taught by nationally recognized artist Gregory Beecham this December (http://www.gbeecham.com/).
