Hidden in the Hills—Wrap-Up

The good always outweighs the bad!

The Good…On the second weekend of the Sonoran Arts League Hidden in the Hills free, self-guided tour of local artist studios this year, the weather was beautiful and art lovers were out in droves. The Bad…On the first weekend of the event, the weather was atrocious (rain, wind and cold), and the visitors were few and far between.

Despite the 50-50 nature of the weather over the two weekends, this year’s show was a wonderful success. Each of the artists sharing my studio endured the bad and enjoyed the good. So, many thanks to each of them for joining me this year: Janet Blumenthal (MoodIndigoArt.com), Suzanne Brown (SuzanneBrownJewelry.com), Jan Griggs (JanGriggsFineArt.com), Jackie Kahn (jmkahn@cox.net) and Lynnette Moody (LynnetteMoody.com).

Thanks also to all those visitors who stopped by to talk about art, share a little wine and cheese, and buy some of the stunning art on display. I’m now looking forward to next year’s event and hoping that Mother Nature treats us a little more graciously.

Below are some photographs of my studio and the artists who shared it during the event. Just click on the first photo to open a larger view of each of the photographs.
