Hidden in the Hills – 2013

HITHLogoFor the past sixteen years, on the two weekends around Thanksgiving, the Sonoran Arts League has presented a free, self-guided tour of local artist studios called Hidden in the Hills. This year’s seventeenth edition promises even more with 164 artists displaying art in every medium. This year also marks my seventh year of participating in this great event, and I was fortunate enough to be featured in the weekly artist spotlight posting on the Hidden in the Hills Blog.

Hidden in the Hills features artists in their studios who are located in northeast Scottsdale, Phoenix, Carefree, Cave Creek. In addition, many of the individual studios have partnered with other artists from all over the Valley of the Sun to share studio space during this event. For example, I’ll be sharing my studio with five other talented artists including: Janet Blumenthal (MoodIndigoArt.com), Suzanne Brown (SuzanneBrownJewelry.com), Jan Griggs (JanGriggsFineArt.com), Jackie Kahn (jmkahn@cox.net) and Lynnette Moody (LynnetteMoody.com).
