Oh what a wonderful feeling…

Scottsdale Artists' School Celebrating 30 Years Student ExhibitIt’s likely that most artists remember exhilaration of their first sale whether it was last week or many years ago. It’s an event that validates what you’ve always wanted…someone actually thinks your work is “good” and is willing to spend some of their money to prove it. Next to that feeling is the elation of having your first juried exhibition. In this case, several artists have judged your work worthy of being exhibited in a gallery displayed alongside other talented artists. I’ve been very fortunate to have experienced both of these milestones in my art career.

The most recent juried show where I’ve been selected to display my work is the Scottsdale Artists’ School “Celebrating 30 Years Student Exhibit”. My recently completed “San Juan River Big Horn” watercolor will be on display (shown at right along with the show’s logo). The show opens with an artists’ reception on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. The exhibit is being hosted by the Northern Trust Bank located at 2398 Camelback Road, Phoenix, Arizona, and runs through April 18. Click here for more information about Scottsdale Artists’ School.

I’d like to invite you and a guest to join me and the other artists at this event, enjoy some wine and hors d’oeuvres, and see some of the finest artwork produced by the students who’ve attended the Scottsdale Artists’ School. Click on the image at the right for full details and RSVP information. I look forward to meeting you there.
